Clínica São Vicente is considered a symbol of tradition and modernity both for our city and for the country. It was established in 1933, in Rio de Janeiro, by physicians Genival Londres and Aluízio Marques. It is currently focused on cases that demand a large concentration of human and technological resources, such as cardiac surgery, organ and tissue transplants, cell therapy, oncology treatment and neurosurgery, among others. 

The hospital has beds distributed amongst the Hospitalization Unit, the Emergency Room and three Intensive Care Units, of which two are preferably directed to neurosurgery and cardiology. There are other integrated services, such as the Cell Therapy Centre and the Burn Unit. The surgical centre can perform any type of surgery.
